About the event
🤔 Who are we?
- The Checkmate Foundation is a provincially registered non-profit that provides opportunities to different communities to foster development and inclusion through chess education.
- Diversecities is a community service organization that provides assistance in four key areas of life: Economic Integration, Social Connection, Well-being, and Learning.
🔍 Event Highlights: Guided chess lessons for students at the beginner, novice, and intermediate levels will be provided weekly, as well as opportunities for free play time and a tournament to wrap up the summer!
📅 Date and Time: Every Sunday from July 6 to August 24: 12:30 - 2:30 PM. Please arrive at 12:15 PM for check-in.
