About the event
Did you know that there are different versions of chess?
If you want to learn about other ways to play the game, come to our workshop on two of the most popular chess variants: Fischer Random and Bughouse!
This event will include a short presentation explaining the rules of these variant modes followed by plenty of free play time with other participants and our experienced volunteers. You are also welcome to play regular chess at the event as well and we will have volunteers available to support you.
Please note that learning chess variants requires an understanding of the original game. Therefore, we ask that you are comfortable playing regular chess if you choose to sign up for this workshop.
